Flying/Bangkok
Arrived Bangkok half hour early, c 1450L (BST +6 hours). Through airport in half an hour – only wait was to get through security.
Having eventually found the metered taxis (not as on tripfinder) was taken to the Admiral Premier Hotel as a thunderstorm took hold of the city. Spent the evening in the hotel – had room service (for about £5 for a meal and drink) and went to bed.
